We were honored to participate as an exhibitor in the "CIC Green Product Certification – Green Product Forum cum Exhibition," hosted by the Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC) on 9 February 2026. This prestigious event gathered industry elites to collectively discuss and drive the future of green building and sustainable procurement. It was a privilege to be part of this dialogue, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to sustainable development.   Challenging Higher Standards: From Platinum to the New 2.0 Era During the exhibition, the Optimix booth served as a focal point where we highlighted three of our market-trusted green building products: OPTIMIX TA313 Tile Adhesive (Semi-Flexible), OPTIMIX TA328 Tile Adhesive (Flexible), and OPTIMIX TG410E Tile Grout (High Performance).   These three flagship products have previously been awarded the highest rating—Platinum—under the "CIC Green Product Certification (Version 1.0)," a testament to their proven quality. To further lead industry standards, Optimix has taken the initiative to apply for the scheme's stricter Version 2.0 certification for these products. This move not only demonstrates our confidence in product quality but also highlights Optimix's determination to proactively embrace higher environmental standards and continuously surpass ourselves.   Dual Assurance for Healthy Indoor Environments Beyond pursuing the highest recognition from the CIC Green Product Certification Scheme, we also showcased test reports confirming compliance with the US CDPH Standard Method v1.2 VOC emission standards. This validates the exceptional performance of Optimix products in controlling Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and enhancing Indoor Air Quality (IAQ). We are dedicated to providing users with "odorless, non-toxic, and safe" choices, helping to create healthier indoor living environments.   Deepening Industry Exchange, Building a Green Future Throughout the exhibition, our team engaged in in-depth exchanges with numerous industry experts and partners, sharing insights on the critical role of green building materials in modern architecture and receiving positive feedback. This prestigious accolade is not only a recognition of our team’s dedication but also a testament to our unwavering commitment to driving sustainable construction across the region.   This award validates our comprehensive approach to green practices, spanning from product innovation to production excellence:   1. Product Excellence & Certification: Optimix’s entire range of dry mortar products has undergone rigorous testing for low Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and achieved internationally recognized green building certifications. Fully compliant with the stringent standards of the Greater Bay Area, our products empower developers to achieve higher Green Building ratings and improved ESG performance for both new developments and renovation projects.   2. Sustainable Operations & Carbon Reduction: In active response to the nation's "Dual Carbon" goals, we have implemented photovoltaic solar panels and ISO 50001 energy management systems at our production facilities in Dongguan and Zhuhai. Through real-time data monitoring, we are progressively moving towards electricity self-sufficiency, laying a solid foundation for future carbon credit trading and operational sustainability.   3. Empowering Modern Construction (MiC): To support the rise of Modular Integrated Construction (MiC), Optimix proactively provides tailored material solutions for landmark projects in Hong Kong, including Light Public Housing (LPH) and other public housing developments. We firmly believe that MiC is a vital driver of green construction, significantly reducing construction waste, noise pollution, and dust.   Looking ahead, Optimix is poised to seize the dynamic development opportunities within the Greater Bay Area. The definition of sustainable construction has evolved significantly, and today's green building standards place equal emphasis on occupant health and well-being. Optimix Group has taken a decisive step in this direction, announcing that three of its flagship products have successfully obtained comprehensive VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) test reports, meeting the exacting requirements of both SCAQMD Rule 1168 and CDPH Standard Method V1.2. The certified products - OPTIMIX TA313 Tile Adhesive (Semi-Flexible), OPTIMIX TA328 Tile Adhesive (Flexible), and OPTIMIX TG410E Tile Grout (High Performance) - have undergone rigorous independent testing for both VOC content and emissions. This dual certification approach provides the most comprehensive validation of environmental performance available in the industry.   Understanding the Significance Volatile Organic Compounds are chemical substances that evaporate at room temperature, potentially affecting indoor air quality and occupant health. In enclosed spaces, prolonged exposure to high VOC levels can contribute to various health concerns, from minor irritations to more serious respiratory issues. This makes VOC control a critical factor in creating healthy indoor environments. The SCAQMD (South Coast Air Quality Management District) Rule 1168 represents one of the United States' strictest VOC content standards for adhesives and sealants. This regulation, widely recognized by green building certification systems including LEED, sets precise limits on the amount of VOCs that can be present in product formulations. Complementing this, the CDPH (California Department of Public Health) Standard Method V1.2 evaluates actual VOC emissions from materials over time. This test measures not just what's in the product, but what it releases into indoor air, setting strict limits for formaldehyde, total volatile organic compounds (TVOC), and dozens of specific chemical substances including benzene and toluene.   Delivering Tangible Benefits "These certifications represent more than compliance—they demonstrate our proactive commitment to human health and environmental stewardship," said Mr. Calvin Chan, CEO of Optimix Group. Optimix Group was proud to open its doors to the next generation of industrial leaders, hosting a delegation of 42 university students from the Hong Kong Young Industrialists Council (HKYIC) "Flying High in GBA" Experience Program. The visit to our state-of-the-art, LEED-certified production base in Zhuhai provided an exclusive look into the synergy of smart manufacturing and corporate sustainability.   The delegation was personally welcomed by Mr. Calvin Chan, Chief Executive Officer of Optimix. In his opening address, Mr. Chan shared valuable insights into the facility's design philosophy, its advanced environmental features, and Optimix's unwavering commitment to sustainable development within the Greater Bay Area.   Following the briefing, the students embarked on a comprehensive tour that brought the theory of modern manufacturing to life. Guided by our passionate staff, the tour covered every stage of our operations—from the central control room monitoring the fully automated production tower, through the precision packaging and palletizing systems, to the secure warehousing facilities. The visit also included an in-depth look at our R&D laboratory, where students learned about our rigorous quality control processes and the innovative research that drives our product development.   Throughout the tour, the students demonstrated remarkable curiosity and enthusiasm, engaging in vibrant discussions with our team about every process. Their insightful questions on technology, efficiency, and environmental impact reflected a deep interest in the future of the industry.   The visit concluded with a special ceremony where HKYIC President Mr. Felix Choi, Executive Vice President Ms. Jackie Ng, and Vice President Mr. Michael Yu presented a souvenir to Calvin.   This event underscores Optimix’s commitment not only to industry excellence but also to corporate social responsibility. By sharing our knowledge and fostering young talent, we aim to inspire the very individuals who will lead and innovate in the industrial landscape of tomorrow. 

In early August, Optimix Group proudly participated in the 13th Guangdong New Building Industrialization & Smart Construction Expo, a major event for the region's construction industry. At the event, Optimix showcased its cutting-edge dry mortar solutions and reaffirmed its commitment to advancing the future of construction.   Our booth served as a bustling hub of activity, drawing significant attention from developers, contractors, and industry peers. Visitors had the opportunity to engage with our technical experts and gain first-hand insights into our comprehensive product range—from sustainable tile adhesives to light-weight floor screeds. The interactive demonstrations highlighted the superior quality, workability, and reliability that have become synonymous with the Optimix brand.   A key theme of the expo, China's national initiative to promote "Better Houses," resonated deeply with Optimix's core mission. This forward-thinking standard emphasizes creating living spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also safe, durable, and environmentally responsible. Our team engaged in many inspiring discussions on how Optimix’s certified, eco-friendly, and high-performance materials are perfectly aligned to meet and exceed these new benchmarks, contributing directly to a better living environment for the public.   The event was more than a showcase; it was a catalyst for future collaboration.
